2011 was a year of great change for me and my family. My mum was diagnosed with breast cancer and I also left her 10 days after having her final surgery at the Royal Marsden to go on an expat adventure. Today she remains cancer free and has been supporting the hospital and the charity for a number of years since on the Marsden Walk as Amanda's Sole Stars. Now it is my turn as I am able to do my bit and give back. This upcoming Sunday 23rd May 2021, I will be walking for the charity.
