Fundraising for Help for Heroes
Story
Having joined the Royal Navy at 16 I signed up for 22 years service, and had every intension on having an incredible long military career ahead of me.
After multiple injurys, operations, and illnesses I was medically discharged at the age of 20. I had an externally rough time in and out of the navy adjusting and trying to cope etc, still receiving care to this date due to what happened in the navy physically and mentally.
Help for heroes welcomed me into their open arms for all types of help, respite, mental health help, counselling , clinical aid and advice, careers and job help, fundraising, charity help for people in the same boat, financial help, Someone to speak to who understands.
Every single person I have met through go help for heroes so far will go above and beyond to make a difference to every veterans life. They are truly incredible people as are those who are fighting their own personal battles as veterans.
I didn't want to be in this position I was in today, I was ready to make naval military history and serve my queen and country. I had prepared my whole life for something that got taken away from me before I got even did my part.
I can't put into words how amazing help for heroes really is. I have support it since I can remember and have donated a small fortune to the charity over the years.
Now I want to do something for them to say thank you I want to do something I love- diving with creatures that are amazing- sharks.
My dad also a diving instructor will be doing the dive with me.
Please support us and please support the charity and all of your veterans who have their lives to protect yours and came off worse off.
