Please join me with the Rotary Club of Sacramento Foundation and the Sacramento Children's Home to fund raise for the 7th annual Sac Century Challenge. This event is now a 100-Hour Challenge where participants ride as much as they like a full century, metric century, a half century or a fun ride or walk, run or engage in another activity of their own choosing between Thursday, October 1st at 8:00 am through Monday, October 5th at 12 noon this event has something for everyone. Our 2020 beneficiary the Sacramento Children's Home Crisis Nursery which protects our communities most vulnerable children by offering a safe, supportive environment during times of crisis with two locations in Sacramento. The Crisis Nursery provides free, 24 hour emergency child care for children from birth to age five. The Crisis Nursery reduces incidents of child abuse and decreases family violence by offering a safe place for children and support services to adults.
