Emergency response to the catastrophic explosion on the port in Beirut.

Story

Salaams and hi. Thanks for visiting my page.

This October i am aiming to run a total of 100km over 20 days to help the people of Beirut get back onto their feet after the tragedy that struck them.

Running 100km over 20 days is pushing myself towards a target that will be challenging, especially given that I've recently returned from injury. I'm counting on you for your support to motivate me towards OUR goal.

Although this challenge will push me to my limits, it is insignificant compared to the challenging times the people of Beirut are facing. Following the catastrophic explosion on Beirut's port where it's blast could be heard even 150 miles away, 100 people have tragically lost their lives, 4000 have been injured and are in need of medical attention and up to 300,000 have been left homeless. With Lebanon's economy in crisis and peril, one of its main hospitals destroyed in the explosion and the others over run, we must do all we can to help it's innocent people that have become victim to this monstrous tragedy.Human Relief Foundation have partners on the ground ready to help. All we need now is all of you to get behind this campaign. Donations will be used to support victims of the blast with food, medical aid and rebuilding homes.

Please donate generously with whatever is within your means, no amount is too little.

Thank you for your support.
