I am travelling to Lebanon in January 2023 to actively participate in some humanitarian work that Muslim charity do in Lebanon for the Syrian refugees.This project is ZAKAT eligible- please mention ZAKAT when donating.

This campaign is for Syrian refugees in Lebanon, Palestinian refugees as well as needy families in Lebanon struggling to make ends meet.The Syrian civil war has resulted in conflict and violence. Millions of innocent people have been caught up in a fight that is not their own, causing devastating consequences and changing blameless lives forever. The most vulnerable members of society are at the greatest risk women, children, and the elderly.The ongoing crisis has left millions of Syrians with no choice but to flee their families and their homes, with millions more displaced and left to fend for their lives. Since the onset of the Syrian civil in March 2011, over one million Syrian refugees have fled to Lebanon.

The donations raised will be in memory of my husband’s late nephew Mohammed Waqar.As most know Mohammed Waqar’s soul returned to our lord during ramadhan.  He has left a huge void is us all that can never be filled. May Allah forgive him and grant him the highest rank in Jannah. 

O Allah, forgive Mohammed Waqar and elevate his station among those who are guided. Send him along the path of those who came before, and forgive us and him, O Lord of the worlds. Enlarge for him his grave and shed light upon him in it. Ameen
