Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit our JustGiving page.

Our team here at Sagar's - David Edmondson, Carl Black, Jamie Ingham and Seerat Abbas are raising money for Pendleside Hospice by climbing Ben Nevis, Scafell Pike and Snowden.

The challenge to climb all 3 mountains is gruelling enough however the task will be further demanding as the team only have 24 hours to complete the trek with the clock continuously running between stages.

The total distance walked will amass to 25 miles with the ascents totalling 3,064 metres. The first ascent will begin at 6am on 29th June with the final ascent up Snowden beginning at 2am the following day.

Pendleside Hospice currently cares for around 1,500 people each year -Inpatient Unit, Hospice at Home, Day Service and Outpatients and Family Support and Spiritual Care. This now costs £4.2 million annually, of which around £3.2 million comes from charitable donations. Without the support and help of our local community, our hospice would not be able to provide these much needed services.

Please donate generously for this fantastic cause.
