I joined the Apraxia Kids 5K Voice Venture because I believe every child deserves a voice.I made a pledge to reach my own personal goal by either running, jogging, or walking in the 5K Voice Venture to raise funds for Apraxia Kids and to spread awareness about childhood apraxia of speech. This will be the second year we participate in the 5K. I am honored to continue to help raise awareness for this speech disorder so that kids like my son continue to benefit from increased research, SLP's who can receive specialized Apraxia training, and so others can continue to benefit from programs that support kids with Apraxia. All kids deserve a voice. I am forever thankful to our SLP team for supporting Sage through every step of his journey and helping him to reach his full potential.
