Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page. I am raising money for The Myton Hospices that provides care for people with terminal illnesses and support to their families. 

On August 17th, I will be taking part in the Mudnificent 7 Challenge - A 7km run in a mud obstacle course.

 I have never done anything like this before and only completed my first (clean) 5km run in May this year. Everyone that knows me well, knows how much I like cleanliness, so it won't be easy running around in the mud but I'm looking forward to taking on the challenge!

The Myton Hospices go above and beyond to provide the best support they can, for both the patient and their family. They recently supported a friend of mine and their family, which really helped them through a very difficult time and made a big difference to them. 

The Myton Hospices believe that everyone matters for every single moment of their life; they focus on enhancing life when cure is no longer an option. Last year The Myton Hospices supported more than 1,800 people and their families, in their three hospices, via their patient and family support services, and in the community through Myton at Home. 

''We know how precious every moment is when you or someone you care for has an illness that can’t be cured, and that is why we work so hard to ensure those final years, months, weeks or even hours are as good as they can be.''

The minimum target is for £84 to be raised to cover the cost of a patients meal for one week. However, if more is raised it could go towards the following....£106 will fund a home visit from a nurse to a patient at home, £158 would fund one day at their day hospice and £460 will fund an inpatient bed for one day.
