Hey,

Thank you for visiting my fundraising page. Every year I try to raise as much money for various charities as possible, and Macmillan Cancer Support is one that is very close to me personally.

Unfortunately, my mother battled with various forms of cancer for over 10 years and I lived through that entire experience with her. I saw first-hand the devastating things cancer can do. Sadly, she passed away in 2007.

Fortunately Macmillan were able to support her through the majority of it and they made the whole situation much easier. I have so much respect for this charity, it's staff, everything it stands for and all the many people they support.

It's been over a year since I pushed myself to my limit (and beyond), so here we go again...

I've decided to take part in the Spartan Beast. For those unsure about what this is, here is the summary for the Spartan Events website:

"The ultimate Spartan test; a soul crushing half marathon with 30 obstacles. You’ll rarely find a Beast on flat ground, so your legs will burn with brutal ascents and descents. The Beast is notorious around the world for its difficulty." (yayyy!)

The event is in April 2023. It would be absolutely amazing if you could help me by donating whatever you can.  I know times are currently difficult for everyone, so anything you can spare would be much appreciated. I'm sure most of you will be excited to see me collapsing at the finish line... But I promise I will make it to the end...

Thanks to everyone that supported my previous Half Marathon event, we raised over £3,000 for Macmillan which goes a long way to helping people live better lives.
