Weldmar's four day trek across the Sahara in October 2013

23 members of our local community are joining us in trekking the Sahara Desert between 17th and 22nd October 2013.

The Sahara Desert Trek is a four day trek accompanied by Berber guides, camels, a tour manager and Matt Smith (Events/Challenges Fundraiser for Weldmar).

Temperatures will range from 35°C during the day and down to 0°C at night.

As well as trekking the desert throughout the day, they will sleep beneath the stars and enjoy their meals en route.

Finally, they will have the chance to spend time in Marrakech, soaking up their way of life, sightseeing and buying souvenirs if you wish.
