Story
At the beginning of my gap year I was faced with the task of planning a beneficial and productive year and it was easy for me to choose to partake in a volunteering project with Challenges Worldwide. In my opinion, there is no better way for me to spend this time than to help disadvantaged communities and better myself as an individual. The most effective way to do this is to immerse myself into a completely new and different culture in which I can grow and learn as well as make a positive impact.
I have an amazing opportunity to work with Challenges Worldwide in Ghana for 3 months where support is provided directly to communities in need. All I have to do is fundraise £800, which is 10% of the total cost of the trip, as the rest is government funded.
Thank you so much to everyone who supports me on this project! Your support not only helps me personally, but will also have a positive impact on a developing community.
