At Macmillan, we will move mountains to help people with cancer live life as fully as they can. We’re doing whatever it takes. But without your help we can’t support everyone who needs us. To donate, volunteer, raise money or campaign with us, call 0300 1000 200 or visit macmillan.org.uk

Story

Thanks for giving to the Sailing Weather Information Service (SWIS) & Weatherweb.net appeal to raise funds for MacMillan Cancer Support.

Whilst SWIS is being enhanced it is completely free of charge, as is Weatherweb.net

However, many sailors and users of Weatherweb.net have said they would be happy to pay for the service, so for the whole of August 2014 we are asking anyone who uses SWIS or Weatherweb.net to donate to Macmillan Cancer Support through our JustGiving page.

Please give as much as you can, but If you're unsure how much to give then use these guidelines...

1. If you use SWIS/Weatherweb once a week give a minimum of £10

2. If you use SWIS/Weatherweb only for the weekend give a minimum of £25

3. If you use SWIS/Weatherweb four times a week or more give £40

4. If you use our SWIS daily email service then give an EXTRA £10

Of course these are minimum donations, the more you can give the better. We think a minimum donation of £50 from all SWIS/Weatherweb users would be good and could raise real funds for Macmillan.

So come on, let's raise some money for Macmillan whilst we enjoy our sailing and the forecasts offered at www.SailingWeather.co.uk and Weatherweb.net

The problem with cancer is that it can hit anyone of us, or our loved ones regardless of age, class, race or creed. If you've had cancer, or know someone who has, you'll know it hits without warning and is a complete life changer!

Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving – they’ll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they’ll send your money directly to the charity. So it’s the most efficient way to donate – saving time and cutting costs for the charity.
