West London Islamic Centre Re-development Project

We aim to build a modern & visionary Mosque to serve and represent all of London

Charity Registration No. 250275

Story

Having lived in Ealing for the last 13 years, our local mosque the West London Islamic Centre has certainly played a big part in my life.

My formative years were spent visiting the mosque for Prayers and community events with my family, as well as participating in its sport facilities including boxing/gym, where the individuals I met have become life time friends.

The centre is now undergoing a major redevelopment, which will see it transformed into one of London's biggest Masjids at 53,000 sqft, full of a comprehensive range of provisions and activities.

We are all well aware of the benefits of building such a community centre and Masjid, both now and in the Hereafter, which will be open and welcoming to all and will include religious, social, health and educational services. Construction is under way and we look forward its completion. However funding is critical to the construction programme.

I have committed £10k towards the build. I will be making the first £1,000 contribution and I hope my family, friends and extended network will be able to help me raise the remaining amount and more.

The aim is to build a modern Mosque with facilities to include a Cafe, bookshop, visitor centre, library, enterprise bazaar, community clinic, extensive education facilities, a fully resourced library and a fitness centre.

If you would like further info please let me know. We pray this small effort is accepted by the Almighty, thanking you all in advance. Yours gratefully, Sajjad.
