After being approached by my close friend Niaz about cycling to raise money for the people of Yemen, I took a long, hard look at how lucky and fortunate I am compared to the poor people of Yemen, and realised it is my duty to help them, as a human being. 

The country of Yemen has been torn and ripped apart and hundreds of thousands have died and been misplaced as a result. These are people, just like you and me, who want to work and spend time with family and friends, but instead, live every day in fear, and without the basic amenities we have. 

The money raised will help those in dire need of it, to provide basic things like clean water to drink and blankets to keep warm - things we all take for granted.
