Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit our JustGiving page.

This year has been incredibly tough for the Hospice Team.

Throughout lockdown and these extremely hard-hitting
times, the team at Salisbury Hospice have worked tirelessly to continue to provide outstanding care for it patients and support for their families, carers and friends in their hours of need.

Not only have they done a fabulous job this past year, but 2021 marks a very special year for Salisbury Hospice as it celebrates 40 years of providing outstanding end of life care to its patients. In their hours of need, Salisbury Hospice has cared for up to 1000 patients and their families every year for the past 40 years that is an enormous 40,000 families in total.

As part of the Captain Tom 100 Challenge, the fundraising team and Trustee’s at Salisbury Hospice Charity are taking on the ‘100 Thank You Challenge’ to show our appreciation for the hospice staff team and acknowledge their hard work and commitment.

Over the bank holiday weekend, we will perform 100 thank you gestures for the Hospice Team. From delivering handmade thank you cards and baked goods to washing cars and much more. We will provide 100 thank you’s to show our appreciation for everything they do for our community.

Thank you so much for sponsoring our Challenge. All money raised will go directly to supporting local people.
