So.....
My mum had Multiple Sclerosis.
I first remember knowing this when I was about 12, she went through many remissions and relapses, but fought her battle with this disease throughout.
It was not in her to let MS win.
I was told that when she died it would not be the MS that took her, but most likely a simple infection as the disease had destroyed her immune system.... and on the 20th March 2008, she lost her battle. (Apparently the amount of medication she was on had destroyed the lining of her stomach, as by that time she was mainly bed-ridden)

Charities have had a tough year, with many people out of pocket themselves, the donations received have taken a massive hit.
