Cycle 274 Miles in August Challenge 2022
Campaign by Brain Tumour Research (RCN England and Wales 1153487, Scotland SC046840)
Cycle 274 Miles in August outdoors, on a static bike at home, or in the gym, it's up to you! Raise vital funds at the same time to help find a cure for brain tumours.

Story

This year is the fifteenth anniversary since my diagnosis of a brain tumour. I count myself as one of the lucky survivors. The percentage of people that do survive a brain tumour is incredibly low. That is why fundraising and raising awareness is so important.

I have chosen to cycle 300 miles over the course of a week in August. This is a good target for me as although I already cycle I have got to find the time to fit this in between all the others things I do. I also have very dodgy knees and don't know yet how they are going to hold up!

Surviving a brain tumour gave me a new lease of life and I appreciate now how short life really is. My motto....don't put anything off that you can do today.

So if you can support my challenge with a donation no matter how small I would really appreciate it.

Thank you all xx

Brain tumours kill more children and adults under the age of 40 than any other cancer. Just 1% of the national spend on cancer research has been allocated to this disease. We are a leading voice calling for support and action for research into what is called the last battleground against cancer.
