It would be wonderful if you could support my sponsored walk in aid of The Caldecott Foundation.  This organisation provides specialist residential care, fostering families and education for children with significant social, emotional and behavioural difficulties due to suffering severe neglect and trauma in early life.  In a woodland setting with an on-site school, homes and highly trained staff the Foundation provides a therapeutic environment for the children.

Each child has local authority funding to cover core services but additional funds are needed for the 'extras' that children in loving families receive and to provide support for those leaving care and making the transition to independent living.
