We are a group of 30 runners and have a week of running challenges in the heat in Malawi in October. We are paying all the costs of the trip but have also set ourselves a challenge to raise money to help the fabulous work done by Open Arms Malawi. We aim to raise £10,000 to support the work of Open Arms in Malawi and their commitment to providing family homes for orphans and preventing malnutrition in children.  835,000 Malawians currently care for an orphaned child. Malnutrition causes 23% of child deaths in Malawi. £10,000 will provide food for 550 Open Arms children over 12 months.
