Story
My name is Sally and I am raising money for the Martlet's Hospice because of the amazing care that they provided for my husband, Mark, before he passed away from metastatic melanoma aged 47. Also for the amazing care that they provide for the patients daily. My husband was diagnosed with skin cancer 3 years ago and it's been a long, hard journey for us all. Mark remained incredibly strong and brave throughout those 3 years and for that, I am proud of him. Sadly he passed away on Sunday 12th of April 2015, surrounded by family who loved him dearly.
To raise money, I am taking part in the Martlet's Midnight Walk and the distance I will be walking is 6 miles.
