Nairnshire Challenge · 22 May 2016

Together, we see a world where people unite and take action to create lasting change across the globe, in our communities and in ourselves. By working together, we aim to promote peace through conflict prevention and resolution, provide clean water, sanitation and hygiene, fight disease through prevention and treatment, save mothers and children through better education and healthcare, support and grow local economies, support the provision of basic education and literacy, and protect the environment.

Story

I'm taking part in the Nairnshire Challenge - a 30 mile (hilly!) duathlon from the south to the north of Nairnshire on Sunday 22nd May.

The route is 13 miles of walking / jogging (or plodding!) across the tracks and many hills of Cawdor Estate, including through a few rivers, then cycling 17 miles back to Nairn.  A big personal challenge for me and hopefully a way to raise funds for Nairn Rotary, who organise this event and distribute their monies to local, national and international good causes.

Fingers crossed for a good day and that I can achieve this.  Thanks for your support.
