Charlies Angel Centre provides support for families following the death of a baby or child. We do this via our website, social media sites, 24 hour telephone line, email & fortnightly Community Support Group meetings. We offer both informal support and free bereavement counselling sessions with professional bereavement counselors. We campaign locally & nationally for improvements to the provision of bereavement support.

Story

As you are all aware, it is coming up to the anniversary of the birth and sad passing of Elsie. In memory of her we are doing a charity walk of the 3 Yorkshire peaks on June 12th. This is a strenuous challenge covering almost 26 miles, a total ascent of 5,200 feet taking on the peaks of Pen-y-ghent, Whernside and Ingleborough in under 12 hours.

We are doing this in aid of a charity called "Charlies Angels" who have, and still are providing us, and other grieving families with invaluable support helping us to rebuild our lives. They help families after the sad loss of a baby or child by providing free services including online information, bereavement counselling and 24/7 telephone and email support.

They rely totally on charity donations to offer this service and I feel that by doing this challenge and raising money for them it is the least we can do to ensure bereaved families, like us, can receive the best care following their loss.

Please help us if you can support this charity who have helped us and many others when you never thought you would need it.

Many thanks

Sally, Danny and our wonderful friends and family who have agreed to take on this challenge with us.
