Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

I had decided to run the Manchester 10K as a weightloss/personal goal and as the run approaches, I would like to use this opportunity to support Francis House with my attempt.

Francis House is an absolutely incredible charity who my grandad wished to support when he sadly passed away earlier this month. I would like to contribute to this wish by doing the run in grandad's memory and raise money for Francis House at the same time.

The Charity supported the daughter of some dear friend's of mine during her battle with a terminal illness. I have visited Francis House once and hearing about the work they undertake and children they support through some really difficult times is an inspiration and will stay with me forever.

I'd like to ask you all to donate whatever you can to this amazing charity. Those of you who personally know me, will know that I have certainly never been a runner and this will be a big challenge for me. I would be so proud to accomplish this and raise money for Francis House, so please dig deep and help me raise my target of £500.

Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving – they’ll never sell them on or send unwanted emails.
