Three Peaks with Choose A Challenge · 23 June 2020 ·
1 in 4 people in the UK will experience a mental health problem each year.
Mind is a supportive network offering reliable information and support, via a number of methods, to millions of people yearly. Whilst there is a growing awareness around mental health, access to adequate services and resources is insufficient to cope with demand. There are still tens of thousands of individuals without the things they need to stay well.
I have chosen to take part in the Three Peaks Challenge in June 2020 to fundraise for Mind, ensuring that everyone experiencing a mental health problem receives the support and respect they deserve.
This challenge entails climbing 5,200 feet up the three highest mountains in the UK (Scafell Pike, Snowdon, and Ben Nevis), covering 25 miles, in just 36 hours (with hardly any sleep!!)
Any donation will be much appreciated. Every penny goes directly to Mind, for better mental health in the UK.
Mental health can affect everyone. No one deserves to struggle on their own. Check in on your friends and family today.
