My sister, Sally, supported Amnesty International throughout her life. She was diagnosed with an incurable cancer only days before her 50th birthday, and died a month later. 

She strongly believed peoples views should be heard, and that we cannot call ourselves a civilised society if people are fearful of what will happen if they speak up.
