1 in 2 people in their lifetime will get cancer. All of us have been affected by cancer either personally or someone we love. In this difficult time, cancer treatments have been delayed and services stretched as never before which makes the work of these 2 charities even more important than normal. I certainly could not imagine having been given my diagnosis and then told I can't start treatment straight away and that is the reality some people have been living with. We are cycling the coast to coast cycle route in September in order to raise money for Cancer Research and Macmillan and to prove to ourselves that we can! This trip was planned before COVID 19 and now lockdown has eased, we are planning to still go ahead, taking all necessary social distancing precautions. If you are able to sponsor us, we would be very grateful but we appreciate this is a tough time for everyone so if you can't, please just wish us luck!
