I am fundraising for Solace who support revert sisters in difficulty. This charity has supported revert sisters in very difficult situations: homeless due to rejection by their families, afraid because of abusive husbands, penniless and with young children to support, worried because they don't know how to practise their deen after shahadah. Many of these sisters begin to question their new found deen and some even leave Islam altogether because of the difficulties they face. Some of these sisters are alone with nobody to turn to. Allah swt is giving us the opportunity to step forward and be like the Ansar who welcomed the new Muslims from Makkah. This can be our sadaqah jariyah if our donation helps even one sister to remain in the fold of Islam.
