Most people know someone effected by cancer and sadly some that lost their battle. Every two minutes someone in the UK is diagnosed with cancer. Your donations through events like Race for Life is what helps charities like Cancer Research UK continue ground-breaking work to see more people surviving cancer.
Abdul Hakim, Penny Douglass, Salma Sadiq - are some of those that we would like to remember on this Race for Life taking place in Hylands Park, Chelmsford July 22.
The Team for Sunday includes Razia Sadiq, Tamzin Marsh, Kiri Marsh, Heidi Marsh, Hannah Marsh, Zeenat Hakim, Reena Sodha, Susie Watts, Priya Shivkumar and Izzie Sadiq-Shirley.

This would have been Salma's 10th time taking part in a cause she believed passionately about.
