My name is Sam Blakeman and I am a proud supporter of Cancer Research UK. I am excited to announce that this year I will be taking on the challenge of completing an Ironman Triathlon to raise money for Cancer Research UK.

An Ironman Triathlon is an extreme endurance challenge that consists of a 3.86 km swim, a 180.25 km bike ride and a 42.20 km run, all completed in one day(17 hours cut off time). 

I am passionate about the cause and know that my efforts can help make a real difference to those living with cancer. Every penny raised will go towards Cancer Research UK’s vital work that is helping to save lives through groundbreaking research and clinical trials.
