After hearing Margaret Evison talk to our school about the amazing work done by the Foundation, a group of us felt inspired to undertake a personal challenge, in order to raise money and awareness for the charity. Mark Evison was Margaret's son who died whilst on tour in Afghanistan in 2009. He went to our school and loved undertaking physical challenges, so we feel this is an appropriate way to honour his memory.

 The Mark Evison Foundation aims to provide opportunities for young people from underprivileged backgrounds; helping them to turn their lives around, and allowing them to gain invaluable life-skills and enjoy fantastic experiences.  From Sunday (30th June) to Friday (5th July) we will embark on a 100 mile hike through the Brecon Beacons. We would feel extremely grateful for any contributions you are able to make, we believe this is a worthy cause.
