This page has been created in memory of Mark Schubert.
Mark suffered a stroke in January 2011 at the age of 18. He fought bravely in hospital for months, but sadly he passed away in September 2011 due to other health problems.

The route closely follows the River Thames from the start at Southwark Park to the finish at Cigarette Island, near Hampton Court. The route is 55 miles which crosses sixteen of the famous Thames bridges below - 

London Bridge, Southwark Bridge, Blackfriars Bridge, Waterloo Bridge, Westminster Bridge, Lambeth Bridge, Chelsea Bridge, Albert Bridge, Battersea Bridge, Wandsworth Bridge, Putney Bridge, Chiswick Bridge, Kew Bridge, Kingston Bridge, Hampton Court Bridge, Walton Bridge.
