A few months ago, we made the decision to do something for Acorns Children's Hospice that would challenge us, put us through my paces, something that we would have to commit to........oh boy does this tick all the boxes!

Training is well under way having collectively clocked up 612 training miles so far, with another 8 weeks still to train. We are hoping that training through the warm weather will pay off as it has nearly finished us off!!!

A little about the charity. Acorn's is the largest children's hospice organisation in the world comprising of three hospices in Birmingham, Walsall and Worcester caring for life limited and life threatened children and their families. It costs nearly £11 million a year to run the three hospices and they are reliant on the support of the local community to raise the majority of these funds.
