One of FitzRoy’s main initiatives is Love4Life - a friendship and dating project for people with learning disabilities and autism, offering workshops and social events to help members make friendships and build relationships in a relaxed atmosphere. Events include bowling, night club outings, karaoke nights, movie nights, pamper days, parties and proms, picnics and restaurants, shopping trips, sports theatre trips and music festivals. If two members decide that they would like to go on a date, FitzRoy provides a trained chaperone for up to three dates in order to ensure a safe dating experience.
