Birmingham Children's Hospital gives children who are un-well the support, care and attention in order for them to receive the best care possible whilst in hospital.

 

Many children each year have to attend and/or have to spend a lengthy period of time in hospital, which is why it is important for them to receive the best to keep them motivated whilst fighting there illness, it is also important that all equipment is up to date in order to treat the children.

 

It can be a hard challenging time to see your child or a friend/relative of a young age go through a hospital experience so by raising money to ensure they have the best experience they can will mean a lot to that Child's family during that time!!

 

I do not run on a regular basis and i am definitely not fit enough to run 13 miles, but the inspiration of the fight those children put up whilst in hospital has inspired me to at least Walk the 13miles in order to raise money to help support them!!!
