Legs hurt

I've been doing this running lark for a while now and have decided to put it to good use by signing up for the Edinburgh Half Marathon on May 22nd. The charity I'll be running for is Macmillan Cancer Support - a close relative of mine recently beat cancer and I want to donate to a charity which will help others to do the same. Some more information on the kinds of work they do can be found on the left of this 'ere box.

My goal on the day is to complete the race in less than 1hr40min. Although I run quite regularly, for me this distance in this amount of time is almost certainly going to be something of a bastard, so if you could sponsor me for my troubles then that would be amazing as it's going to an excellent, excellent cause and I will be really chuffed if you do.

I'm going to hopefully start up a blog this week about how the training is going, which I'll post a link to as soon as it's up. I'm not really sure why the font's done an impromptu change here, maybe I've displeased the font-god in some way; this doesn't really bode well for the blog, but anyways, please forgive these technological transgressions & donate. Owt's better than nowt.

Big, big love, Sam x
