Right To Play transforms the lives of almost two million
disadvantaged children every week across Africa, the Middle East and Asia through the power of sport and play. All of our games are specially designed to provide children with the knowledge and skills they need to overcome adversity and to tackle the challenges affecting their communities. Half of the one million children in our programs are girls, and over half of our 14,400 volunteer coaches are women, so we are also helping to break down cultural barriers that prevent girls from reaching their potential.
Donation levels
If you decide to make a donation, thank you very much, here’s
the impact your money will make:
£5 could enable one refugee child to attend a community Play
Day, where, together with the host community, they combine fun with learning to bring about community-wide behaviour change and reduce tensions.
£30 could help one child take part in the weekly play-based
activities run by Right To Play coaches for a whole year. Because play-based learning is fun, children in our school, stay enrolled longer and perform better academically.
£120 could train a volunteer coach to lead Right To Play
programmes reaching 30 children. Volunteer coaches are teachers, mentors and local leaders who run weekly sport and play sessions to educate hundreds of children in their communities.
£180 could help train a teacher over 3 years, so they can use
interactive play that puts children at the heart of their learning and helps
relieve the traumas and stress refugee children have experienced in fleeing their homes.
