London Marathon 2023 · 23 April 2023 ·
It may of just been chance but I seemed to always find myself at my Nan and Grandads house on Marathon Sunday. My Nan would be watching from when the elite athletes started first thing and would have it on the tv till the very end of the coverage. She always supported and cheered every single runner on from her chair. It was amazing!
I sadly lost my Nan to cancer in November 2012 and it still rips me to shreds even today. She was the most influential person I have ever met and I am so proud to of had someone like her in my life growing up.
She was supported by Macmillan and I will forever be grateful for what they had done for her and the millions of people that they help every year. So I am running for them in honour of my Nan. We have done amazing so far with fundraising. So now I ask however big or small your contribution it really will mean a lot to me and will go to help so many people.
I asked for donations 4 years ago when I applied, unfortunately virgin money no longer operate. But for you who did donate already your money has already been given to Macmillan during the pandemic when it was vital for them. As a thank you I managed to screenshot your donations, your donations are included in my total on JustGiving. I will put those donations in the comments as I truly appreciate your contribution.
If you are around on the big day let me know and where you plan to be. Would be great to see you!
Thank you if you do donate as mentioned it means so much to me.
