Sam's page

Marathon Swims - London · 11 November 2017 ·
Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.
I met Sam when we were 8 at a local swimming club. When he was 11 he suffered a brain tumour. Thankfully he pulled through after a long time spent at Queen's Medical Centre in Nottingham.
Brain tumours kill more children and adults under the age of 40 than any other cancer, yet just 1% of the national spend on cancer research has been allocated to this devastating disease.
We are now both 24 and I thought it fitting I completed a swim challenge as that's how we met.
Please help us fund the fight, together we will find the cure.
