Story
When I heard that children with cancer could lose their hair when being treated, I thought it was so sad. Then I found out that their was a charity that made wigs out of real hair so these children didn't have to be embarrassed while their own hair grew back.
So for the last 2 years I have been growing my hair until it was long enough to cut and donate.
This might sound easy but for a boy who's used to having very short hair, long hair takes a lot of looking after - more regular washing, routine conditioning and constant brushing. Not to mention the constant need to have a hair band and ties to hand for any physical activities and for many school lessons too (like science or food tech).
But it has been worth it and I can now donate my hair to The Little Princess Trust and it will hopefully help an unfortunate child cope a little better.
