At my Sixth Form School, Esher College, myself and a group of other volunteers have been given the opportunity to travel to Nepal and help the people affected by the 2015 earthquake that devasted their country.  

We will be doing our voluntary work for 12 days. During that time 5 of those will be spent demolishing unsuitable and unsafe housing and then helping to rebuild the houses that can still be salvaged. We will also have the opportunity to work with some the the Nepali children in a local school and assist them in their education.
