Muscular Dystrophy UKs #TeamOrange are taking on the Great North Run 2019 to take a huge stride in the fight against muscle-wasting conditions.

Story

Hi everyone I've decided to run the great north run 2019 to raise money for a charity that directly affects my life. In 2012 I was diagnosed with Muscular dystrophy (a muscle wasting disease) which lead to me being medically discharged from the army. It's a genetic disease which means one day we could find out my son has it. We hope this isn't the case however I'd like to raise as much money for this great cause so that hopefully one day there is a cure out there and we can live our lives without worrying about our future. Any donations will be much appreciated. Cheers Ginger Sam x
