Ride MHA
Campaign by MHA (RCN 1083995)
Support our CEO Sam Monaghan and team MHA on a 5-day cycling challenge where they will complete an average of 75 miles a day. Their journey will start at our first care home in Surrey, ending with a celebration at our retirement living in Leeds.

Story

Team MHA are taking on a challenging five day bike ride, around 375 miles stopping at MHA communities along the route. Beginning at our very first care home, Ryelands in Surrey, travelling through the picturesque Cotswolds and stunning Peak District National Park before crossing the finish line at our retirement living community, Moor Allerton in Leeds. We rely on donations and fundraising in order to provide our life-enhancing services, chaplaincy, music therapy and our community groups. All donations to MHA are invested into the services we provide.

As CEO of MHA, I'm doing this ride not only to support, grow and develop our range of life enhancing services, but also because the ride is a way of telling the story of MHA and our ambitions for the future. The route will take us from our origins to the present, including joining a local Methodist Church on MHA Sunday. We will also visit the full range of work we do, reflecting that we're One MHA, working together to enable people to live later life well.
