The clock tower cup at Doncaster is a race exclusively for stable staff that have been nominated by their employer, to ride in the race to reward their hard work and dedication. Riding in a race is an ambition of most people who work in racing and the emotions of riders and their friends and family supporting them on the day run high as they realise their dream.
