Story

Myself, Daniel Mason, Jack Bromley, Kavan Young, Jonny Witherley & Ryan Gorton are running the Great North Run 2022 on behalf of The Clarke Lister Brain Haemorrhage Foundation, specifically raising funds for the charity’s Feel Good Centre.

The Clarke Lister Feel Good Centre is a spin-off from the Brain Haemorrhage Foundation, supporting survivors with neurological conditions, such as Brain haemorrhage, Stroke, Parkinson’s, and Multiple Sclerosis, as well as supporting the wider community suffering from isolation and loneliness.
We host daily activities, lunch clubs and information sessions specific to people’s needs.
Had Clarke lived, he would have needed 24/7 care. We have met many families living after haemorrhage or Stroke whose quality of life can be dramatically improved by exercise, which is impossible for most.
Our target is to open an ASSISTED EXERCISE SUITE managed by a physio, to give access to exercise FOR ALL abilities. This suite is unique to the North East.
