Story
When Stuart asked me to do an event this year... I cautiously agreed... little did I know when I said yes ... it was a 100k in two days and with a night in a tent! I then decided that I needed help with my motivation, so I have ploughed on with my training but I still need more (100k is a LONG way after all)… so I have decided that if we asked for donations for James Jar of Gifts and people donated this should be the push I need to get me over that finish line!
James was diagnosed with a rare, life threatening immune disorder when he was 5 years old. This required a bone marrow transplant and a long stay, largely in isolation, at Great Ormond Street Hospital. Despite putting up a huge battle , James passed away on 12 June 2016, aged just 7.James loved life - he loved football, golf, lego and his cats. Most of all he loved people. He was kind and loving and this charity will honour James' memory by helping as many other young people as we can - funding opportunities they would not otherwise have.
So please donate not only to help me over the line, and to recognise the ear bashing Stuart will receive ALL the way around… but to also raise money for James’ Charity.
