Thames Hospice In Memory Sunflower Walk

Sunflower In Memory Walk · 11 September 2021 ·
My mum was diagnosed with Motor Neurone Disease in August 2020 and after deteriorating rapidly she passed away less than a year later.
The hospice provided her with a place to go once a week in the Day Therapy Unit surrounded by the amazing staff there along with counselling and complimentary therapy for her and her family members.
We will be forever grateful for their kindness and support.

Proudly serving the community for more than 30 years, Thames Hospice is the only adult hospice providing both inpatient and community palliative and end-of-life care services across East Berkshire and South Buckinghamshire. Treating everyone with kindness and compassion and providing a safe and caring environment is at the heart of everything we do to support those facing a terminal illness. Our services are free of charge to all who need us. It costs £12million every year to keep our Hospice running and we rely on charitable support for over 50% of the funds we need annually to provide our services 365 days a year to the people who need us most. Our income has been hugely impacted by the coronavirus pandemic and we need our community's support more than ever to help us continue providing our services free of charge, thank you!
