Story

Thanks for dropping by and welcome to Fundraising central for my 2024 London Marathon attempt where I will be running on behalf of the North London Hospice; a charity close to my heart.

Their care and commitment to supporting patients suffering from life-limiting conditions, as well as their families, is something that my family and I have experienced first-hand and I am honoured to have been given the opportunity to raise money for their work. There are so many worthy causes out there, but every penny raised in support of the North London Hospice really does make such a difference to helping those at what can be one of the darkest moments.

A little about me:

London-based IT professional.

First Marathon.

Natural 200m sprinter.

Young enough to be doing this. Old enough to know better.

Realistic target Finishing time: 4h45m (subject to change)

The time that the overly-competitive and delusional inner-me thinks is possible: 3h29m58s (subject to change)

I appreciate every single pound (or £10...) that you can give!

All joking aside, please give as generously as you feel you can and thank you in advance for your support.

The Important (but less interesting) bit:

Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving - they'll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they'll send your money directly to the charity. So it's the most efficient way to donate - saving time and cutting costs for the charity.
