Initially i signing up for this event with Tristan because it appealed to us and we wanted to set myself a challenge (25 miles along the Cornish coastline, up over headlands, along beaches and in and out of the sea).  However, in talking about it with others, a few people have asked if they can sponsor me and it got me thinking.  

My Nan passed away earlier this month and she had Parkinsons.    So although a bit late in the day in terms of my training for the event, i thought this would be a good opportunity to do something in her memory and try and raise some money for Parkinsons UK.  

It is fair to say that we have put allot of time into training for the event and it has been hard going physically.  It has also required us to dedicate allot of time to this and giving up / cutting back on certain things.  So  I think it is fair to say that any donations you can spare will have been well earned.
