Over 150,000 of us in the UK have MS. It’s unpredictable and different for everyone. But it doesn’t have to be this way. We’re the MS Society. We understand what life’s like with MS. We're here for you through the highs, lows and everything in between. Together, we are strong enough to stop MS.

Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

My partner's mum suffers from primary progressive MS, so I'm taking part in the Cardiff Half Marathon to help raise awareness in Wales of the great work the MS Society does for all those affected.

Around 5,000 people live with MS in Wales. MS is often painful and exhausting, and can cause problems with how we walk, move, see, think and feel.

The MS Society has a network of 16 peer support groups across Wales, who offer vital social interaction, practical and emotional support to anyone affected by MS. Additionally, specially trained Information and Support Officers assist with a range of issues such as employment rights, welfare and access to treatments and services.

The MS Society also funds groundbreaking research, including the UK MS Register based at Swansea University, which aims to capture more data about people who have MS to inform future research.

Please make a donation if you can and show your support for this vital work.

Thank you.
