United Response is committed to making life better for people with disabilities and mental health needs. We combine high quality care with influential national campaigns that challenge inequality and throw a positive light on the achievements and everyday lives of the people we support.

Story

Hello hello

We know we are crazy, but walking around in our pink bras for the 42k Moonwalk in 2008 somehow inspired us to do the whole distance but running instead!

The charity we are running for is called United Response, which supports people with learning disabilities or mental health needs to live the lives they choose. They provide everything from 24-hour care and support to helping someone living in his or her own flat to get a job. Raising money for United Response will allow the people they support to access new experiences, new friends and the things they want in life - things the rest of us often take for granted.

Our training is in full swing and we hope you will reward our efforts by sponsoring us. Furthermore we need all the support on the big day (26 April) so we look forward to seeing you all cheer us on!

PS: Donating through Justgiving is quick, easy and totally secure. It’s also the most efficient way to sponsor us: United Response gets your money faster and, if you’re a UK taxpayer, Justgiving makes sure 25% in Gift Aid, plus a 3% supplement, are added to your donation.
